Job Summary:

Proventus Global, a leader in agile, full-cycle energy solutions, is seeking a Test Engineer with a strong background in power electronics and electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The role offers an unique opportunity for professionals who are driven to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our novel energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans for high voltage electronics and DC equipment, with particular focus on EV chargers, to facilitate their certification.

  • Conduct rigorous system-level testing on energy storage systems and DC Fast chargers, aiming to validate their performance, safety and reliability before they hit the market.

  • Leverage your solid technical knowledge to identify, address, and prevent possible issues early in the product cycle.

  • Collaborate closely with our R&D team to drive continuous improvement in the quality and reliability of our EV chargers, using feedback from testing and certifications.

  • Document all testing processes, issues identified and resolutions, and keep abreast of latest industry standards on EV charger testing and certification.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.

  • Proven experience with testing and certifying power electronics or EV chargers.

  • Technical proficiency in the operation and testing of high voltage DC equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, and a record of proactive troubleshooting in a challenging or high-stakes testing environment.

  • Excellent communication skills that ensure clear and efficient information flow within teams, across different departments, and to external certification bodies.

  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively in teams, robust project management skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
